In our first episode, four academics reflect on their experiences of creating podcasts in an educational context over the past year (2020-2021). The discussion compares podcasting prior to the COVID pandemic, how they’ve adapted their workflows, what has worked for students and other random observations. The panel includes Jenny O’Connor (The Nerve), Bruce Wardrop (WinWin) and Rob O’Connor (The Machine) – all Irish faculty members at Waterford Institute of Technology – and Jody O. Early of University of Washington Bothel (US), a self-described Baby-Pod who’s just starting out with the medium.
